Progress

So it's week 5 and I am currently writing a sample analysis of my findings. I have found many articles on the internet and I have carried out a few interviews. I feel positive about my inquiry and am enjoying finding out different views on the thoughts on summer and winter born babies. I am aware campus sessions go on but as I work fulltime I am unable to attend these. But I am in regular contact with Alan on my progress. I'd love to know what people are doing and where they are at with their inquires, do comment below....

    That sounds good that you're on track with your inquiry having reached a point of analysis and that you're keeping in regular contact with Alan. I have found that the more you offer on other people's Blogs, the more people reciprocate on yours. It's worth reading through and making comments on what they have written as often their response triggers new thoughts for your own inquiry. Please do take a look at my blog and although I am carrying out a diverse inquiry, you never know what we may discover from reading about one another's progress and offering support.

    Your inquiry appears to be pretty heavy in context. Perhaps that's just me as I do not teach children in an educational setting.
    I appreciate that you may have already Blogged about this, but just so that I can understand more, how is your inquiry going to impact on your professional practice?

  2. Thanks for your comment Jo I shall look at yours shortly.

    I feel my inquiry is so relevant to what I do now. Being a teaching assistant with reception children one of my main roles is to flag up children to the class teacher who are falling behind and doing this inquiry it is making me aware of why this can be the case and what I need to do to help this issue not affect the majority. I hope this makes some sort of sense to you!!

    So do you find that depending on when a child is born / the intake dates often affects the dynamics of the class? Is it the younger ones who tend to fall behind?
    Have I understood?
    There are definitely other people in this course who are working within children's education. I shall try to have think who they are a point you / them in each other's direction (if that would help?)
